no idea ive never messed with the apsm models

This is exactly what I want to know. If they can make rated power, it's a 1500 watt amp for around $100 and it's not even used.

they wont do rated clean but they get close for the money. the highest ive seen out of them clean was 1300 rms. and clipped is seen 1503 rms. so yea they do rated just not clean. but even 1300 rms is worth $100

I have heard the APSM is strappable, and for $200 or so for 2600 watts(pair strapped) seems like a deal to me. I have heard they protection circuitry is sub-par though.

I havent used em, but am thinking about them for a budget install till I have a garage to park in.

for a true budget build, you can't do much better that the apsm's, i have had the 1300, 1500, and the 2000. i have a hatch back, so i could hear the fan, not very loud, but heard it none the less. the 2000 is a little greedy though.
