Looking or the final part... The speakers...

I have accumulates most all the parts of my new stereo. The only thing that is left is the speakers. I am looking for a 6.5in component set. I have a 400-450 budget. They will be getting alot of clean power and will be in stock locations.

The car is a 2008 scion tc.

My top picks are CDT Audio HD-62, Diamond Audio SXP65A, and JBL MS-62C. This is based on your equipment, which seems to point you toward a sound quality oriented build that can get a bit loud. With any speakers you want to work on the installation to control vibrations and rattles and block outside noise. You should plan to experiment with different tweeter locations before you permanently install them, especially since you don't have an 8-channel processor on your list. These are critical to making your speakers sound as good as possible. You may need to budget several hundred dollars in sound deadening materials, and I would cut back the speaker budget rather than skipping sound deadening. All of the speakers I listed can do a very good job, but I gave you a range of prices from $250 to $430.

CLD Tiles, Closed Cell Foam, MLV, IHI-66 Vinyl Cement, velcro, and butyl rope. You'll need to e-mail the owner to discuss how much product to order and which areas of the car you want to treat. I would do at least the front doors and the trunk, but if you can afford the product and down time to treat the entire cabin that will get the best results.

I forgot to mention... I have a huge box of damplifier pro sitting here as well. So sound deadening will be taken care of

Damplifier Pro will take care of panel vibrations, but it will not stop rattles and it won't do much of anything to block outside noise. More importantly, it won't stop the bad phase interaction from sound from the back side of the speaker coming through the door. This phase cancellation will make the midbass response sound weak, and not because the speakers aren't up to the task. You don't have to use the products I suggested to solve this problem, but the SDS solution isn't permanent and it attaches with velcro. This makes it easily removed if you need to service the door components. This will make more sense if you read the web site and look at the photos.
