looking into new HeadUnits...

well, ive been looking into new HUs lately.. one ive got now isnt cutting it anymore and ive had it for a year now when i had my old system..

ive been looking at the alpine 9886, ive been playing with it whenever i go to best buy or installations unlimited (local shop) thing looks great, but not sure if its everything i want/need

heres what im looking for MAINLY

-6 channel pre-outs (front/rear/sub)

-4 volt preouts preferably, less is fine

-bass controls (something like my current hu has, it has +/- 15 for sub controls)- dont really wanna lose any of my bass and i heard the alpine 9886 is less of a bass hu? true?

-good direct ipod connection, easy/fast scrolling and searching

-CD player

-aux input i would like to have as well

-bass/mid/treble adjustments

-dont care about shyt like bluetooth/nav and extra junk like that, ill never use it

just looking for something to easily be able to navigate through, like having all settings have to be frequencies like 80hz 120hz 5500hz and shit for me confuses me haha

ive also been looking at double DIN head units, touch screen, dont know why i just like the look of them, my friend has a pioneer avn4100 or something idr the exact model and the only thing i hate about it is the volume controls, push button = way to slow, something like that with a knob would be good too

My 9886 made it easier for me to find the IPOD music I was looking for than my Pioneer Premier 980 BT I got now. It was very easy to navigate, bluetooth worked well, IPOD worked well. I just got tired of it due to lack of content. I was not interested in IMPRINT as Id rather work with a 10-15 band EQ and get it just how I like it than let a computer do a tune I can't tweak. Also wasn't interested in upgrading to a 9887 just to get a small built in EQ when this Pioneer I found has a 16 band EQ and other good stuff with the only add-on module necessary being for the IPOD.
