Looking for the best subs for around $500 for my 01 Expedition

Looking for something with large SPL and clean bass. Im looking for 2-3 15's or 12's. I can go with a large box because I do have alot of bass. Im thinking either Type R's or Type X's. But what else is better out there guys thats in my price range?

the DD3515 is a nice clean sounding sub

you could find them used around 300-350 a piece
