Looking for SQ sub <$150

Just installed my components last night, and decided I'm going to get rid of my rear fill.

Money is TIGHT, but I'm dying to get a sub stage. Right now I have a Phoenix Gold R8 4-channel amp, and with the rear channels bridged will put out 250 watts @ 4-ohms

Basically I'm looking for a sub that will sound nice on 250 watts. I know it won't "wang" or set car alarms off, that's not what I'm looking for.

I want pure SQ, with a little bit of thump to hold me over.

Budget is $150 shipped. Right now I'm pushing towards a 13W1, I can get one of them off Sonic for $140 shipped.

I can do something around 90 shipped, give or take

TC2+ motor, and can produce a little SPL

Nice little drivers and will be fine off of 250 watts, SVC4.

I only gave mine like 350 a piece and they get plenty loud sealed.

Look into the Diamond D3 series. 15" is 120 +ship on sonic electronix i think. Great SQ and output off small amounts of power. Mine sounds awesome on 150 watts.

An RE 12 is a pretty decent SQ sub in that price range

Thanks for the suggestions guys. How about a ED 13kv.2?? I am talking with ED tech and they say it will sound great....but then again they are trying to make a sale lol.

Right now I'm leaning towards the DB500...but we'll see.

The RE 12 won't work...its a dual 4...Maybe a DD 510 or 512 They have some really good SQ and should be in your price range...They are very efficient and don't take a lot of power to get loud and clear plus they produce really great bottom end //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
