Are these pretty much all good choices? Im not worried about bass or crazy loud , more of a clean, enjoyable sound. Hate harsh tweeters.

My budget is around 400 but wouldn't mind paying less, might pay more. For a 2002 maxima stock locations.

clear clean balanced between mids and tweeters. ....

Not able to go active and running about 100rms but will get a better amp if the speakers need more.

What amp do you have and why can't you go active?

Look into Rainbow Germaniums, Hertz HSK-165.. the Morel Virtus is a good choice..

Im gonna get a new amp but I can't afford speakers and amp so I wanna do speakers first.

First I blew a set of image dynamics , actually 2 sets front and rear , out of stupidity. And I now have infinity perfect and not happy with them. To bright, mids **** and so does bass

Doors will be deadened before installing whatever speakers I get. Someone pmed me over at dymi for phd fb. He quoted i believe 340 shipped

And the af about 700 . Im not even sure if I want 2 or 3 way yet

That would be Phil The phd sets have great midbass the tweets are very smooth sounding. But they may be a handful flush mounting them But well worth the effort

I wouldn't be able to mount in the door? Im actually leaning towards phd, but not sure if I should do 3 ways.

Might do ppi just cause they are so cheap but for some reason i feel like I'll be really happy with phd.

What difference would be between 2 and 3 way? Will it be a huge sound difference?

A big difference I had a 2 way set. And now a 3 way They fill in missing frequency responses way better. As far as the tweeters. They can be flush mounted. But it may take some fabrication to get them right

Tweeters will probably go in a pvc cap, I've never done pods im kind of nervous to screw the interior up but knowing me I'll try.

And I was wrong , it was actually someone from this site that I spoke to about phd.
