Looking for specs of Alpine 05 series?

They removed the 05 series from Alpine's website, and i would really like to do a comparasion of the 06 line to the 05 line (9853, 9855). Does anyone know where i can find the specs for them? I heard the 06 line doesnt have the time alignment... and that 06 is worse than 05 (read on these forums).... true or false?

I did buy a 9855 from BBuy back in Jan. but returned it due to car payments... but now i would like to know if its worth buying the 9855 or 53, or the 06 line.

Thats all the top 06 line doesnt have? What about the major differences between the 9853 and the 9855 besides the fact that the 9855 has 4v preouts?

there were a few batches of 05 headunits that went bad.

i went through 3 9851's before stepping up to a 9855.

the glidetouch was a little wierd at first but now that everything is set up im used to it and barley use it.

here are the specs for the 9855R in europe. i dont know if there is or isn't any difference between the US and Euro versions. im pretty sure they are close.

i think the main diffrence between the 53 and 55 is the biolite display and the 4v preouts.

does the 9853 have red lighting on it also? I see it on europe site that it has red in it but thats the 9853R. I dont want red lighting.

The 9853 has everything the 9855 has except biolite display and 4v preouts. Period! It just depends how important those two features are to you. I personally had a 9855 and exchanged it for the 9853 because I just couldn't justify the price difference.

True, and mine was one of them...after 10 minutes, whole radio frozen...It was being repaired, now it's workins without problems.
