i will eventually amp them, not right away. I would like them to be separate drivers and tweets and i dont really want to add a sub so good bass too.

Music taste wont help much as in one day i could go through zeppelin, to jazz, to rap.

Noob question: whats a "Coaxials"

Im guessing component is drivers/tweets?

Yeah, those would be a great choice for the money. But to get the full midbass potential out of them, they really should be amped with a clean 100-160w rms per channel.

How good are they?

You want to amp components, if you dont, your not going to get the sound they can produce, it would be like starving them by not amping them, I recommend getting an amp asap!!

If your on a tight budget check out Profile Amps(MillionBuy) and Kicker Refurbs(HifiSoundConnection)

And good choice of comps, I was going to point them out, but your already ahead of me LOL

if sound quality is what your seeking without breaking the bank, check out the CDT CL seires, i have been using these for sometime know and have been very happy with the midbass, the way the produce vocals and the power handling is good. They use silk dome tweeters so they never get harsh or bother my ears even when i blast them.

No amp? I would get an amp and coaxes before I would run a component set off head unit power.
