Looking for something that may not even exist.

Hey all... I was wondering if any of you had heard of an amp with specs similar to this.

I'd like it to be a 3 channel amp.

2 x 100-150 for a front set of speakers and then 1 x 400-500 for a sub. (class D maybe?)

Something like the Audison SRx3... but maybe with a bit more power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The LRx 3.1k would fit the bill... but it's like $1700 .. so any other options?

Yes.. I could do that... but then it would be class A/B for the sub stage and probably be under powered...

I don't think I'm going to find a 4 channel that will do 2 x 100 for the front and then 1 x 500 when the rears are bridged... ?

Get a memphis Belle. The older ones. Its a 5ch though and a guy on here has a nice one he would get rid of. 6 30A fuses FTW.

Maybe the Alpine PDX-4.150

I remember reading somewhere (can't recall) that bridging 2 of the channels gives close to 500w rms.

Can anyone confirm this?

But then the rear channels would be class A/B and I'd only be getting about 300w to the sub.. .and I'd like something closer to 500w.

The Alpine PDX-4.150 looks just about perfect if it'll do 500w when the rear channel is bridged though! (and it's all class D!)

Get the Memphis Belle, bridge the front channel pairs and keep the gain down. Uses all the channels and leaves you with plenty of headroom.
