looking for some new speakers

hi, i just picked up an '03 Explorer Sport Trac. i know that the speakers in the doors are 5x7/6x8, so what type of converter would you use so that i can fit a 6.5/6.75 component speakers? also what speakers would you guys recommend out of the available 6.5/6.75 component speakers. i have read good things about the phoenix gold's but i was wondering what other speakers ppl out there are listening to. midbass is pretty important as i do not know if i will be getting a subwoofer yet. i listen to most hip-hop and rock. i have an alpine cda-9856 HU and a rockford fosgate p4004 amp. and finally, would you recommend getting 2 pairs of the same speakers or 1 pair for front stage (highs/mids) and a pair for the back (midbass) and could you please give me recommendations for each. thanks a lot i know that was a lot to ask but hopefully someone here will have the answers i am looking for.

I would build this converter out of mdf then go with some of thoes PG components that everybody talks about.
