Looking for some Help

I installed a cd player recently and when I put in a cd , the only speakers that work are the tweeters. All of the speakers work when on F.M, but only the tweeters work when a cd is inserted. I put a different head unit in, thinking it was the problem, but it still does this. Looking for some input.

are your speakers running off an amp or right off the head unit? and how are your tweets hooked up?

running off the headunit. The separate tweeters and the tweeters on the mid-range speakers are the only ones that work.

sounds like you're using the power antenna wire on amps, instead of remote wire

i used two different cd players, and both times it did this. The woofer works on the mid-range speakers when in F.M radio mode, but not when the cd is playing.

you said your mid-range and tweeters are running off your head unit not an amp right? and what kind of head unit is it?
