Looking for some good sound quality ear phones...

My ipod ear phones gave up on me, now its time to replace them...

I have never experienced ear buds. I dont mind having ear phones (the ones that come with a clip for each ear). Im not sure what my budget is but I sure wont pay more then $100 bucks, if you can reccomend me a reputable brand along with the model number of the ear phone model number that will be great. Dont think I want alot of bass I just want to hear good sound quality of it... Thanks.

I would def give the DD earphones a try, i want a pair.

I will admit that my bose in ear headphones sound great. The bass is there along with everything else. My next pair will either be the same ones or the sure in ear headphones.

sennhesier cx300b. Can be had for pretty cheap nowadays.

I have tons of earphones. 100 will be difficult to find "great" headphones. If you can get another 40 (I know its a big amount extra) get the Phonak PFE. You will not find a better set of headphones unless you spend 500.

If you MUST stay under 100...look for Monster turbines...they go for around 100. Not nearly as good as the PFE's but have decent highs and LOTS of bass (more than likely more than you are looking for) mids are not great though.

Shure makes great headphones but you need a bit more money. Do not get anything in the SCL line, it's totally crap. SE110's sound pretty nice, can be had for about 100 shipped. When you get them and get the right fit, give them a few days to break in. The lows don't sound right for about 5-10 hours of play.

I've heard the DD earphones personally and don't have much to compare them to but they rocked. There not as loud as I though they would be but very clear and detailed.

Can even change the bass response in them. the tuning i mean.

Ipods won't play low impedence headphones like the old pro standard Sony and Sennhizier headphones.
