Looking for some advice...12inch subwoofers

Hey guys I really don't know crap when it comes to this stuff. Just looking for advice. My JL Audio w3d2's (old yes) have been in my trunk for a year damaged and not working because all of the equipment I used to haul around ripped them apart. I have a box that was build for the specs of the JL's. Should I purchase a new pair on eBay for $200 or is there something you guys would recommend. Thanks if you’re taking the time to read this.
