Looking for opinions on RX8

It's time to buy my daughter her first car. I'm looking at a 2005 Mazda RX8 with 70,000 miles on it. I'm need opinions from anyone that's owned one if you would recommend this car or not. There will be no aftermarket audio in it so that's not an issue. It has the rotary engine which I know nothing about. Any advice would be appreciated.

way too much car for a girls first car.........it sits too low for her to see around other cars and other drivers with bigger vehichles won't see her either....car has very big blindspots in the back to see out of....and way too much power for an inexperienced driver...oh and super high insurance

Not the car for first time driver.

Get her a civic

easy on the wallet and cheaper gas (rx8 takes premium) and easier upkeep.

BTW I drove my cousins and it is quick. And the blindspots are worse than in my 300zx which i thought was pretty frickin bad.

Just a heads up

My first car (current car) is the one in my sig.

Its a great first car. Very comfortable, like for reals. Out of all the cars Ive sat in for long periods of time, mine is still the most comfortable. Big trunk etc.

Not sure about the duratec, but the ones with the vulcan are known to last for a lonnnnnnnnng time. The engine itself is rocksolid, just the shit around it breaks.

rotary = mechanical nightmare. I do believe I have seen the hossage driving around town in one of these so you may want to ask him or his owner for some first hand experience.. All of my nightmare stores are on RX7's but same POS rotary..

Shut up retard.

Yes my taurus(es) were ****ing awesome, granted they needed a new ****** every 20k but thankfully I caught on after the third one and got the extended warranty so that last 4 were all covered //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Yea no. Mine is still on the original ****** and shows no signs of giving out anytime soon.
