Looking for New Alpine HU

I am looking for a new Alpine head unit with in about a $150 - $250 price range. I do not know alot about Head units cause i never had to buy one, one came with my car. So im looking for a HU with a lot of features and is reliable. One that people have had and can vouche for.

Current system:

Sony CDX-7500 (piece of junk)

Kenwood 9152D Mono Amplifier pushin 450RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms

2 12" Kicker Comp VR's (400RMS each)

Sealed box

1.5 Farad cap

I had a cheap old JVC, **** CD player broke, so I bought a co-worker's old Alpine unit, I think it's the 9801 model, and I gotta say, I .. L O V E.. Alpine headunits, the bass engine etc etc, it sounds nice and rich, thick good.

fyi, the 06 lineup of alpines have less features then the past few years if you're going for that price for a brand new one, maybe try lookin in the classifieds for something ud like?

I looked at the new alpine lineup and was not impressed at all. I wouldnt buy a new one, go with a older model. They are declining fast it looks like.

I would LOVE to get the CDA-9835 model, but I CANNOT find one. Anyone selling one in GOOD condition or know of any dealers online that have some? I have been looking for about 4 days now, and still no luck. Also, anyone selling the CDA-9815 model? I would take any of these 2 models but preferably the CDA-9815 model. Any sellers or dealers on these 2 models would be appreciated.

Where are these "classifieds" ? Are they part of this site and I am just not seeing it or are you talking about an outside source in general?? Sorry if its a dumb question :/
