the amp is benched at about 1100 watts. its the ZX 1000.1 from kicker. i have a 12" kicker L7 in the kicker ported box and am lookin for more SPL. im thinking of either A) build a 2.95cube box at 34hz to see if it makes the L7 better B) buying 15" Fi Sub for more SPL. what do you think. ive seen some 15" Fi Q's off of the 1000.1 and they flex windows and stuff. My l7 def doesnt do that hah. throw some input on me.

mkay. well ill need to buy MDF to build it of course. some silicone sealer, wood glue and screws. i only have a circular saw. my uncle is a carpenter so ill see what he can do.

Alright man, good luck with the build...Do you have a desing for it or what? I'd also reccomend "titebond" wood glue man, that stuff's awsome! A circular saw is okay just make sure you cut the lines straight! Nothing sucks more than crooked lines....

yeah i already had the plans done by revrider and i will get the titebond. yeah the uncle has all of the table saws and everything. he builds furnature and showcases it. he also builds additions to houses and all of that jazz so hes great with wood. ill take the plans to him and we'll build it together. gunna be 3.0cf^3 at 34hz.

ok well i have done some drawing and all of that stuff. the box according to plans, is a rectangular prizm of course. sub cone is on the same face as the port. port is L shaped and goes along the right side of the box, then along the back of the box. 3 cubes at 34Hz is what everyone tells me will work well with the sub. once built i will install it cone and port facing taillights in my trunk. i will get a sheet of MDF, Titebond wood glue, wood screws, silicone sealer, and a wood finish that prevents weathering. we have every woodworking saw and hand tool pretty much so that wont be a problem.

im not too sure on where to start when building the box. i guess after i cut the pieces out. ill lay them out and start puzzle piecing the box together, marking spots with pencil. then glue, then drill holes, then screw. top piece will go on last over all of the other stuff.

also need help on deciding on good terminals for the box. i know where they will go but i want some nice ones that will go in simply.
