Looking for JL Audio 6W0 sealing gasket

Hey everyone. I damaged one of the sealing gaskets for my JL Audio 6W-4 subs and am in desperate need for another one. I tried JL direct and all my local dealers but no luck so far.

If anyone has one of these laying around or is willing to sell I will take it! Any help is appreciated!

light trim gasket for in ceiling can light trims should work... dunno where you can pick them up in canada, but I imagine electricians there installing lights could easily give you some. I have BOXES AND BOXES of them in 4" inner diameter size. haven't done any larger cans recently but shipping would be rediculous tho so I couldn't help you anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but even look at a hardware store and see if you can score some. Home Depot has 4-6" cans and they should come with said foam gaskets that would work imo..

Well that's the first suggestions I've heard after months of searching. I'll check it out this weekend. Do you have any pictures or anything? This 'gasket' is also the aesthetically pleasing part that covers the bolts.

The gasket goes between the basket and the mounting surface. Or are you talking about the layered paper piece that goes on top of the basket, with the holes for the screws in it? Those come off all the time. Got any pics of what you are looking for?

Here is the picture. It is the 'sealing gasket' that's what JL Audio calls it. There is a channel inside the 'gasket' which the mounting surface of the sub sits in--so essentially it surrounds the mounting surface. It also hides the screws and mounting holes so it gives it a nice clean look:

The gasket that goes around the edge of the basket where the screws go in and the surround mounts to? You can probably get one cheap that fits a typical 12-spoke off of some of the companies that run around here on the forums if that'll fit
