Looking for HU with enough EQ presets and bands.

I'm looking for a head unit that has at least 5 custom presets with either a 15+ band graphic EQ or 5+ band parametric EQ without much center frequency restriction. I was looking at older Alpine HU's that have 6 custom presets but I've read that the center frequency of each of the 5 bands in their parametric EQs can only be adjusted by a narrow degree. Does anyone know of any model that has what I want without breaking the bank (pref. less than $300 new or used)?

I would thing most people on here would recommend a Pioneer p880. It's got it all. I almost bought that one myself. I opted for the Kenwood Excelon X-990. Both of them are awesome decks.

I like the Pioneer but it only has 2 custom presets. Most HU's seem to have very few for some reason. I didn't see a manual on Kenwood's website. How many custom presets does it have and are the bands fully parametric (ie. can you adjust any one of them from 20Hz through 20000Hz) ?

I believe the X-990 has 4 custom pre sets, but your not going to find either deck for under 300 bucks new anyway.

I like the Alpines, I am leaning towards them at this point. I just wish the center frequencies where more flexible. I am also looking at the Eclipse CD8445, though I'm not familiar with that brand and not certain how many custom presets it has yet.
