Looking for Focal K2Ps, Rainbow SLC265s or similar.

I have the Rainbows in the sound board in my showroow and they sound awesome to me, all my customers seem to like them over the other brands I carry that's at the same price point. Some of the others brands my be alittle louder with the same power but overall the Rainbows sound better.......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D

I knew my rainbows werent as loud as I thought they were...

I have some high end italian audio called AD audio just need to send in one mid that's messed up to them all of it still under warranty. $300 shipped well worth over that.

Double check the sound board today and I've actually got the SLX's in it which is a step below the SLC's and they sound great!!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D

Looking to stick to the sets I have here, good to know about the rainbows though, what are you loading them with in wattage?
Had a 100w going to my cal25, and 225w going to each of my 6.5 profi vanadium.

Sounded awsome, but the profi's didnt get as loud as I wanted it.

btw I have the tn-52 tweeter now in leiu of the cal25...

If its the one that goes in K2P i would recommend it. Think the midbass is just as good.

The tweeter's strength seems to be in that the music is very disperse so it sounds great off axis. The problem, it might be with my setup tho, is that there is a gap somewhere, still cant find how to remedy it....

From what I have heard the 52 might be a little harsher than the 51...

Something I would just have to play around with as far as mounting location and X-over DBs

A lot of people say the tweeter is harsh initatially because it needs to break in to really shine. Focal recommends 150hrs of break in.

I personally like the sound of a bright tweeter.
