logitech or altec lansing, i agree.

the logitech z2300 series has a beastly substage, but the speakers could be a little bit better.

altec has always been opposite for me, good speakers, horrible low end.

altec has always been opposite for me, good speakers, horrible low end.

That's exactly what I feared when I bought these, but was pleasantly surprised. Even with it being a 5.25" driver, it gets loud and low. I haven't gotten to test it TOO much, as I live in an apartment building, but there's definitely a strong substage there. At moderate to high volumes, you can here a little static in the speakers, if there is nothing playing. Which if the reviews are read, the reviewers say the same exact thing.

with a decent sound card that has individual adjustments you can tweak that distortion right out of them i have the 5.1 set and couldnt be happier amazing quality for 100$

and the substage rattles my dual 22" monitors of the desk so i had to arm mount them to the wall lolz
