I just recently purchased two Polk Audio 12" DXi124DVC and I need some assistance in purchasing an amp for it. I am fairly new in this so I have some idea what kind of power to buy, but not completely sure yet.

Polk Audio Subs 12" DVC

power range: 50-360 watts RMS (180 watts per coil)

peak power handling: 720 watts

My budget is around $150, but I can go a little more depending on how good of a quality of an amp it is. I think I am supposed to get a 2 channel that is stable at 2 ohm. If anyone can recommend me a decent amp for this setup, I would appreciate it.

No you dont need a 2ch amp because you have a 2 subs... You will wire the subs like this to a mono amp

I would suggest an Audiopipe APSM 1300...

lol..

I am leaning towards the Soundstream Rub.1800D. However, the Audiopipe APSM 1300 seems like a good budget amp for the price. So what I should be looking for is a mono amp that is around 720W+ RMS to power the two subs?
