What do you need it to run at? I've got a mmats 2000.05d thats rated to do 2000@.5 ohms, 1100@1 and 550@2. Though its been clamped at 2200 rise to 1.4ohms at 12.6v. So 2200+ @ 1 ohm with good electrical. $300 shipped

Amp is not a power hog like many, extremely efficient. With your HO alt you should have zero problems with dimming or getting it enough power. It did over rated at 12.6v, so should tell you plenty.
