looking for amp/s 8000w

i have two jbl w12gti. just building a box tuned to 32hz and a cap for 55hz for competition. i wanted input on an amp. the subs are 800 rms and 4000 max apiece. right not im looking at two crunch GP2500. any other thoughts?

look for something that will do 1400 they are rated @ 700rms each

Definitely, all that 4k max means is if you hit it for a half a second with 4000 watts they are saying it shouldn't blow. 4k rms would **** the shit out of that

this is true.

and the 2000-2500 isnt out of the question as long as gains are set properly

together a one ohm load. its 6 apiece, put together three, but dual so 1.5. just stick to a one ohm mono amp
