Do you want new tech or old school, does physical amp size matter, what gague of pwr wire are you running, what is your budget, how many amps do you want, and are you wanting bass that is more "musical" or more of a hard hitting sound? The new class D amps from JL or Alpine will give planty of wattage and the JL (imo) is more of an American sounding amp and the Alpine is a bit more of a musical amp, but both will drive your subs just fine and both will do it with very little drain on your cars electrical system (also a 4 gauge pwr wire is enough for both too). In comparisson I have an old school PPI PC4800 that produces an insane amount of wattage in a bridged, 1 ohm or less mode. It needs almost 3ft to mount, gets hotter then heck and needs as big of a pwr as you cn run to it, but it will make your subs hit with incredible force. I do not have a very good representation of Crunch here the only retailer that carries them here is Fry's and they are not my favorite people..but from what I have seen these amps selling for on line and the user reviews they sound like good amps for the $$ as long as you do not want to go lower then a 1 ohm load. Good luck with whatever you decide.
