I need a alternator for my 07 nbs Silverado 4.8...need at least 200+amps, looking for the best alt for best price. the cheaper the better but don't want junk.

ive tried to go back and look but it was too long ago ebay doesnt show it. i just messaged them all a few questions after i picked a few i was interested in and bought one. look at their feedback before and see what ppl are saying about them. i loved mine and will buy my next one off ebay also. just my opinionWhat brand was it
You got lucky. I bought one from eBay a few years back. Was nothing but nightmares failed after 2 months sent back took 2 months to get a replacement to find out that they wouldn't honor the warranty on the new one. If failed 3 weeks later. Had it rebuilt locally. I was told the alt was a stock alt with a smaller pully and cheap Chinese parts. And only put out 120 max. Not 220 like advertisedpeople hate to hear it but for my honda accord i got mine off ebay and never had a issue with it. and i paid like $120 shipped. had it tested and it did what was claimed. i loved it. just my opinion though
well i was aware of the risk. i got it and took it to be tested locally before installing. if it didnt work then ebay would pay to ship it back i was only out my money for a few days. ive seen a bunch from ebay work fine but there are a few ppl on here like yourself who had issues. i will be buying my next one off ebay though. sorry for your bad luckYou got lucky. Yea it's cool. I know some of the newer companies seem to be better but when your getting a 200 + amp alt. that where the issues come into play. yeah i can see that. only one i ever saw off ebay personally that was bad was for a jeep. but they have weird regulators for voltage anyways.Yea it's cool. Even our local alt builder will only build up to a 200 amp alt. he says it's to hard to make them last because the bearings wear out to fast over 200 ampsyeah i can see that. only one i ever saw off ebay personally that was bad was for a jeep. but they have weird regulators for voltage anyways.
