well im looking at new head units, thinking of getting an alpine... heres what im looking at

CDA-105

but does this unit have seperate subwoofer controls? and an eq that you can change seperatly, like bass, mid, trebel? like my current HU has bass (-8/+8) mid (-8/+8) treble (-8/+8) and i like having that along with a good subwoofer control, but does it have an aux input? doesnt look it

also looking at

CDE-103BT

same question as above with the subwoofer and eq settings, and i like this because it does have an aux input and the only reason i prefer an aux input is because i dont like navagating through songs on a single DIN hu, PITA IMO i'd rather scroll through the ipod in my hand.

that doesnt tell me which one would be the better choice, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
the links answer all your questions though. Specifically, looks like you'll have better sub controls in the first than in the second.

That Kenwood is going to be a better quality unit than a cheaper Alpine. I put a Kenwood Excelon in my GF's PT Loser and it's great. She's got the 693. IMO, Kenwood's units can be pretty hard to beat for the price.
