Im not going active right off the bat. Ive got a alpine 137bt h.u and want to upgrade to a nice eclipse. But yea thats y i was thinking 3 way but i figured itd be better to go with 8in mid bass n real nice silk domes. Can u recommend anything as far as that goes? N if i run that many speakers up front shuld i look at getting a 6 channel amp.or a real beefy 4. My helix bridged will put out close to 200 bridged per sideI would run four 8 inch midbasses up front to keep up with your 2 hdds and some silk dome tweets placed close to the mids. This would require some custom fiberglassing though. No matter what people say, one pair of 6.5s are not gonna keep up with a big system when it comes to midbass if your a midbass junkie. Also, are you going active or just gonna use crossovers?
The dyn's are very nice. But way over your $600 budget. The ground zeros I seen are very nice and they did sound really good to but your gonna need at least 2 sets to keep up with the saz 5000 and 4 subsWhat about the dynaudio esotec 3 way sydtem? Pricey but has awesome reviews. Or im thinkin the gz 3 way too. Too many **** options
only got 2 subs as of right now. guna wall off in about 6 months and run 4 15s but for now 2 powerful 12s. im really contemplating doing like 4 8 inch mid woofers and maybe 2 3 inch mid range and 2 or 4 nice warm tweets. The dyn's are very nice. lol it would be incredibly rude for you not too on this site lol. ill def check into those and see whats up. im thinking maybe 4 8 inch mid woofers 2-4 mid range 3 or 6.5 inchers and 2 nice warm and clear tweetsYeah a 3 way front stage will sound a lot nicer then a 2 way most of the times if it always. If you have the mounting depth for it, go for exodus anarchy 8s or peerless sls 8s midbasses and Vifa xt25 tweets and silverflute 6.5s mids or CDT ES-02 mids to save on space and fiberglassing work. Also your amp should be fine, you can always upgrade that later if you feel the need to.
that aside, i also have jbl ms62 6.5s i'm not using and they are great drivers for midrange clarity, not much midbass though. (wouldnt be car audio .com without someone throwing a sales pitch in every thread right?)
yeah. but i want to take a big step up. i wana blow peoples minds. i was thinking 2 ab 1100.1 amps on 4 shd 15s. if thats what i do run. u n me will need to talk about my amp possibilities. maybe a few b2 or american bass. not quite sure yet. i know i want 4 shds thoIf your gonna run the saz. Then just get a pair of hdd 15s and rebuild your 12s to 15s. Done. You'll be able to run 10k. + in power to the subs then
Ok well either way I can get you done Maybe 6-8. 12s in a clamshell. That would be nice n loud toyeah. but i want to take a big step up. i wana blow peoples minds. i was thinking 2 ab 1100.1 amps on 4 shd 15s. if thats what i do run. u n me will need to talk about my amp possibilities. maybe a few b2 or american bass. not quite sure yet. i know i want 4 shds tho
