Whats up guys. I have been reading on this forum for quite a few years. mostly at work. i am about to start a build within the next 4 months. and i am looking for some advice from you guys, the pros. i just happen to work for a certain company that allows me to get great discounts on a quite a few car audio products. nothing like fi, audioque, ssa, or rd. here is what i am thinking for my install.
the vehicle:
its not in the best shape but its paid for and free. lol. the best kind of vehicle. only has 110000 on it. so here is the equipment i am thinking of putting in the truck.
h/u - pioneer 900bt
front 6 1/2 component set - kappa perfect 6.1
rear 4x6 - Kappa 462.9CFP
4 channel - rockford 400-4
Subs - 4 Alpine type R 12's dual 4
Subs amps - undecided
sound deadener - Raamat 3 rolls (188 sq. ft)
alt - thinking of a meachman 220/a
wiring - kicker hyperflex 1/0 and probably some RF 4 & 8 for the subs and buss bars
knuconcepts ring terminals
batteries - thinking either three yellowtops or three kinetic 2400
so thats pretty much it besides the box. which i need some advice about making a box for this truck. its definitly going to be a blow through. and yes i have outweighed the pros and cons of the blow through. any people ho have done blow through please chime in and give any advice possible. i am contemplating doing power window kits also. a viper 771xv will also soon be in the mix. since i get it dirt cheap as well. so guys feel free leave comments for amps or different subs. i would like two seperate amps. maybe run them at 1000rms a piece. i will be getting most of this equipment for my birthday coming up and probably a few more for christmas.
