Looking for advanced knowledge on newer brands vs more well known brands.

Actually these amps are my sons amps the Polk was used for just a couple if hours if that then pulled back out the hifonics was in a truck we just bought both are very clean amps and well below retail the Memphis amps are decent but not what they used to be either to me it's makes no difference if the amps are sold or not neither are mine. Like I said one belongs to my son the other the wife's And I did check pricing on both before offered up

I have two type R's that are lightly used and would be a lot cheaper than retail.I also have a smaller alpine amp but you won't get the 1000+ rms your looking for. Pm me if your interested. If your not interested in any of that I would suggest the ppi black ice amps. They are good if your looking for budget amps that do rated.

The soundqubed subs are supposed to be pretty good budget subs also. If you want any help with building your own enclosure rather than buying prefab you could get plenty of help from people on here. It would be cheaper and get you much better results.

Just found this thinking about going to pick it up looks like it will run 1100 rms or more assuming a slight underating Memphis Audio MC1.1100 Amp

You talk down about name brands yet you're trying to sell the dude a Polk Audio and a HiFonics amplifier for a shipped price that's only slightly lower than retail on Amazon? You're just trying to make a sale aren't you?

OP, most people talk down about "name brands" because they have no experience in it, not to mention all the "internet brands" all have really, really similar products to the point where they might as well copy each other. No sense of unique style, no patents on most of their products if not all of it, and these idiots still think it's the best or something but hey, some people think that mongol Hennessy Venom GT is the best US-made car ever because it can go really fast in a straight line, even though it is just a stretched Lotus Exige from England with a big engine.

I recommend Memphis Audio's M-class subs and their Power Reference amplifiers, their Mojo5 subs are really good as well. You can also checkout MTX's new 75 and 95 series of subs and their xThunder amps.
