Looking for a set of 7" door speakers

Im needing so door speakers that will mount up to a 7" cut out. Ive read that the RE XXX's are really like around a 7" speaker, are there any others that will fit?

You are probably best fabbing a plate and putting in the next smallest size speaker of your choice- they have 6 3/4 speaks but they are rare/ish, and never seen a true 7" speaker.

wait you have a 7" HOLE? in the doors??? That would lend to an 8" speaker... well the 8" I'm thinking about needs a 7 3/8" diameter hole... but if you have a 7" HOLE I'm sure you can widen it out a little bit??? -- do a 3 way setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif? -- if you can fit a driver that has a 7 1/8" diameter flange (can be ground down a bit to make it 7") -- it needs a 5-3/4" diameter hole... Well the doors are really for 6 3/4" speakers, but they are on a mounting bracket thing. So im pretty sure that I could fit a 7" speaker, but if not, then I can always cut the hole out wider.

What is the price of the 8" speaker that you are talking about?

Does anybody know anything about Dynaudio? There are some 7" dynaudio speakers on ebay right now, but before I bid, I am wanting to know if they are any good.

They are indeed good -- have their pros and cons like any other midwoofer...

good midrange and fairly well behaved... less extension than some... good power handling so long as you don't set the high pass too low on it... Would make a good 2 way with the appropriate tweeter -- fairly well behaved would take to active fine without EQ for each driver... if you got a good tweeter too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Are you wanting to sell the xxx's? If so, then for how much.

I did notice that all of the dynaudio speakers were going pretty high. So i might just go with some of the 7" dayton speakers that OlogyAudio talked about. But I do have a question about the daytons. It says that they are "woofers", so does that mean that they are just like little subwoofers or what?
