im looking for a headunit that will display the song name and title of a song on the radio, regular radio (not HD/xm). is there a name for this? or does anyone know a model that does this?

most of the headunits now a days will display the name of the song and title. What's your budget?

You want a feature that is on practically all new stock head units but not on the aftermarket head units and its called RDS or Radio Data Service. The one manufacture that does have it is Kenwood. What it does is show the name of the Radio Station and then it will scroll thorugh the Artist and Song title.
