I would like to spend around 200 - 300. So if yall would, make some suggestions on a component set. I have a JL 4 channel amp that pushes like 70 or 80 RMS per channel.

I am in same boat, I have alpine type R but its not cuttting it--requires too much power to shine and mounting depth is big, tweeter sound sucks.

my choice is down ot cyrstal 6.5--at $140 that people are raving about.

second choice and most probably get it is --boston pro60

third choice is focal k--but cost too much--maybe focal kp for $300 somewhere

head rainbow but can't find to listen to slc or germs--

but for the money and sound at this point, boston wins, heard and liked it.

haven't heard crystal yet==need to hear it before buying.
