These are super rare and they do not have a reputation for reliability or speed. I thought hard about buying one of these a couple of years ago when I was really into Alpine HUs from that period and I just could not justify it. I recommend using an Aux adapter into a smartphone, iPod, or other portable media player.

yeah im gonna do that too. i just thought it looked cool and would go nicely below my 9833.

lol, I used to have one connected under my 9835.

They are very cool looking, but very slow and had one of the drives go out on me - so had to hunt down another one. Not sure if they are swappable for an ssd?
