Looking for a 18 to rumble some lows, suggestions?

Working with a JL 1000/1v2. Just a single 18 inch sub, any suggestions? I'm trying to represent some good SPL and low end. I'd rather not have to have like 8 cuft of space taken up for the enclosure, so maybe a 15 is a better choice? Any suggestions?

hm, are the only options 1 and 2 ohm DVC? my amp can only go down to 1.5 ohms

then get the dual 1 and wire to 2ohm
