Looking for a 1.5kw D monoblock

I was running an Audiopipe 15001D, and recently, after barely moving it around, it fried. I am now looking for a more reliable 1500w amp that does rated and is reliable. I am willing to spend ~250.

i have an alpine pdx 1000.1. will do ratted and more at 14v. at 2-4 ohms.

You know, I'm not sure. I checked EVERYTHING. It's not like I was running it at an unstable impedance. It was @ eight ohms. When I moved my sub box to the back of my vehicle and turned it back on, the amp went into protect, and bottomed my sub's suspension out. The cone went all the way down, but never above the resting point.

You know, I'm not sure. I checked EVERYTHING. It's not like I was running it at an unstable impedance. It was @ eight ohms. When I moved my sub box to the back of my vehicle and turned it back on, the amp went into protect, and bottomed my sub's suspension out. The cone went all the way down, but never above the resting point.

if you bought authorised return it under warrenty. i am willing to bet the pos touched the heat sink. those are good amps...

Sorry man but, I dont think wholesalers honor warrantees!! This is why I say you get what you pay for. And I am not trying to be an azz, however, we all want to save a buck, but sometimes it is not worth it. If you would have spent a little more, like 400, for an example on a sundown audio 1500d, you would have a new one in the mail to you as we speak. Jacob would have instructed you to send the blown one to him and he would sent you a new one. Buying your amp for 250, no matter what is wrong with it, it will cost more to fix it than the amp itself!!

I know that Sundown is an incredible company, I just can't justify spending four hundred dollars on a first-system amp. If I was willing to do that, I would just save and buy a Memphis 4kw and 2 BTL 18s.
