Looking for 8' in subwoofer that can be power by premier x720 amp

Hello,

I have a 02. Acura tl type-s. I am looking to replace my stock sub in the rear.

I do have a pioneer premier x720 and its rated @ 400 rms @ 4 ohm bridged that I will be

Running the 8 in sub.Can anyone suggest what subwoofer I can buy without spending too much money? And where to buy it.

You can run a pair of Image Dynamic ID8D4V3's to each channel at 2 ohms. That puts them right at RMS power for each sub. You can also look for the Arc Audio 8's. Same exact sub as the ID8D4V3.

If you go with a pair you will need two d2's for a 2 ohm load or two d4's for a 4 ohm load or 1 ohm load.

Would be a good choice if the OP didnt have 400 over rated watts and a factory install location that could handle that kind of abuse.

The sundown sa-8 sub sounds pretty good. The only thing is that it is not gonna be a box, it just drops right in the rear deck. Will the bass still sound good?
