as the title says, i'm in the market for an amp that'll do 4-5k @ 1ohm. Looking to spend $600 or less if possible, hoping for maybe a hifonics cylcops or goliath if there are any floating around out there. As a partial trade, I have a hifonics xx zues.

big fat bump. I've also seen the old autotek mean machine 4000.1 sell for in this range. Somebody's got one of these floating around!!

i've heard they're under-rated but yes, the Zeus model is rated for 1600 RMS.
