Looking at a new system...

Well, got a budget here. Getting a new car almost certainly, and I'm looking at getting a full new audio system. But, not a bunch of money to spend.

I'll almost certainly be getting a '96 Infiniti G20, and it has 4x6 slots in the front, and 6.75" slots in the back. I'm definitely up to some editing, or making some kick panels, for different speakers, though.

What I already have - I have a HiFonics TXI4406 amplifier, 4 way, 55 RMS @ 4 ohms, 110 @ 2 ohms. Bridged it gets 220 RMS @ 4 ohms, and it isn't stable at 2 ohms bridged, apparently.

I might possibly still have my kicker zx750.1 - but I might also sell it and go for a whole new system. Depends, as I could use the cash atm. I also already have an Alpine CDM-9806 cd player, which works nicely - and I could obtain my friend's JVC cd player fairly cheap, too, if I was to go that route. So, HU is taken care of. Amplifier for speakers is taken care of, most likely, unless I get recommendations to sell it off and get something different. Subwoofer amp might be good too.

Basically, I want something that's decent, and will wow someone. I need some suggestions on components/co-axials, at a good cheap price. I was looking at either an FI SSD or Q subwoofer, to match the amplifier.

So... I need:

2 (I have people that ride in my back seat all the time) sets of Components/Co-axials

Possibly 1 subwoofer amplifier

One subwoofer

And preferably a budget of $300-$400 dollars. If that can be managed, it'd be great. Might be able to pick up some Infinity Reference 6022i co-axials, too, from my friend.

I'd add that something else for a possibility would be to mount two shallow subs, moderately low power, under my seats. That'd probably not only get the effects I'd want, as I want a decent sound, and I don't need it to be that loud, and it'd make the amp a hell of a lot cheaper. And I'd still hear the bass well. Back in the trunks of cars, I tend to hear it from there - localized to the trunk - and you need more power to get the same sound from back there as you would up front. And to get the same vibrations

That'd be a $180 for just the rear speakers (possibly front) - a bit much. I'd want a second set, and I'd still be looking into options for the bass.

Yeah, I know where the sub is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Scratch the kicker amp.

I've got a pair of rear 6.5" comps I'm looking at, for $60. So taking a budget of $400, that puts me at about $340 left to spend. Probably another 60-80 for my front stage, so I have about $280 for a bass system. Amplifier + subwoofer - shallow mount 10", either one or two, would be great - along with something like a 400 wrms amplifier.

So far, I'm looking at these.

Phoenix Gold Component Set RSD, 6.5", for rear fill.

Hifonics TXI4008 Amplifier to power 1 or 2 subs

I'm looking for shallow mount subs - came across these - either

1 of these - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6562

2 of these - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6642

1 of these - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=7059

Those are possibilities as of now - which puts me at $60+$95+$205/$200/$160 for either about $360 spent, or $320 spent. It'd be kinda nice to have to shallow mount subs, one for either side of the car, but the less money spent the better - yet I want a good quality sound, which is why the diamonds look good. Nice low frequency extension.

And I'll need to add in a pair of 4x6 or 4" speakers for the front stage.
