Looked at the guts of my amp, Anything seem abnormal?

I never said any of that?.. Maybe I'm just not catching your horrid sarcasm. Also, ive ran at a lower ohm load before, and had experience with a lower line of this Hifonics and was pleased.

Don't open your amp if you don't know what you're doing. If you thought the glue that keeps your torroids from shaking loose from the board during the bass they make was anything other than what it is, you shouldn't be opening your amp. Your amp is weak because it's a hifonics and it's running at 8 ohms. /thread

Also I simply opened it, didn't tamper with it. Unless I'm uneducated to the point where I didn't know opening a cover can cause electrical harm.

it can depending on where you opened it. if it was a really dusty area lot of moisture etc

You didn't even know that glue all over the torroid was normal. That means you don't need to be in there. I'm not trying to put you down but you have no business in there.

I'm disappointed with the output, because the output on my Hifonics 1210 BXI kept me satisfied. Although, this higher power version of the amp did not impress, which is what shocked me.

I see your point that I shouldn't be bothering with the board if I don't know what anything is, but I took pictures with the intentions to get help from people that do know where everything is. I also did know that glue does belong on that component, but the way it looked shaved off didn't look right to me so that is why I asked.

But if you see nothing wrong with the amp, thank you for the reassurance.

one bad wire can make all the difference. but depending on the 1200 you got it coulda been better
