i did it because of the 90 day warranty JL has compared to the 2 year Kicker has. JL offers 2 years if you let one of their dealers install it...otherwise its 90 days. Kicker don't give a fawk who installs it... i was just kidding about the "you guys made me do it"sh!t...honestly i have dealt with kicker soo many times and had nothing but great experiences with their customer service. YES the sub amp is the SX1250 and the 4 ch is a 350.4

If you install it yourself, you can swing by a dealer and if its a good installation they will certify it and you get the full 2 year warranty.

of course if youre planning on doing a Julio job on your car then you wouldnt want to do that but either way good luck with that. I wouldave kept the JL's.

Due to a lot of negative things ive read about the JL amps i bought last week, i returned them to the shop i bought them from and exchanged them for these...mainly for the 2 yr warranty from Kicker. HAPPY NOW?

thats your opinion. i would rather go with a company that i know stands behind their stuff no matter what, than go with a company that I DON"T KNOW how they treat their customers. i have had NO PROBLEMS with the Kicker stuff in the past. besides, it only matters what I WANT. you can ask 100 different ppl on here and each has their own opinions on which this and that is better than the next. SOO likmanutts!

I love the SX1250.1. It really is a sick amp with the built-in DSP.

JL = Best amps I've ever owned (out of about 15 others). No problems and I've owned 4 of them so far.

Kickers are good though...win, win either way I guess.

The JL amps are great, but i agree that the warranty makes it worth it.
