more pics will DEFINITELY come...they dont stick out too far...in the build log theres pics of em on the truck before bondo was one if thats wat yall want to see..but finally pics will come this week....i have to install EVERYTHING.

and materials were pretty high as i didnt kno the cheapest place to get some of the stuff but now i do.

Resin - $55 one gallon 2nd gallon was $35 (didnt use but about half of the 2nd gallon

glass matt - $36 (6 packs)

Primer $20 (4 cans)

Sander - $40

sander pads - $20

Bondo - $40 (2 gallons, not all was used...wasted alot too.

misc items (brushes, gloves, dowel rods, bolts, hot glue gun, glue sticks) - $50

auto paint - $25

Grand total $321....i think i can get it WAY cheaper now that i kno wat im doing and where to get things.i am just about positive i can get materials down to 150-200.

Of course there is...but considering this is my first time EVER messing with FG, bondo or nething like that i think i did fairly well...there by far perfect...but there going in a DD so its all good.

well just went to the shop to look at the pods in daylight...snagged some pics with digi today...here ya go:

my dad....had to touch up the whole back lip (the part that goes into the window crevis)...old peps vision isnt that great...but props to him for painting while i was at work.

Looks really nice, especially for a first go at fiberglassing. I've seen some sad attempts with some nasty, saggy-*** curves, overlapped seams, stitching, etc.

yes i smoothed everything up..i didnt like the stock texture stuff.

I dont have pics of installed yet b/c my dad had to touch up paint on the this morning and i left them to dry for the day...hopefully get em installed tomorrow evening.

yea i may do that later on down the road...there not perfect and there are some bad places when you get up close but to be only 17 and first time with FG i think i done pretty good....wrapping em would be a PIA tho.
