actualy... I was planning to use an Atomic APX 856 motor... only thing I wanted from IA was a basket and cone/surround... however when I emailed IA i was told no right off teh bat because I wasn't using all IA stuff... so I figured may be I would have a better chance if I BS'd. Obviously that didn't work. Also, I did read your post... what does that have to do with anything? Would anyone really expect you to say "oh yeah, I get those 21s back for recones all the time", probably not...
I personaly don't have any experience with your products/company and as of now, I don't plan to. do you care? Probably not because I am only one person but any business person knows... If someone has a good experience with your company, they might tell a couple people but if someone has a bad experience with your company, they will tell EVERYONE....

Not sure when you had a bad experience with us. You tried to BS us so you could build your own custom sub from OUR custom parts. It would be totally different if we used "off the shelf" soft parts.....if anybody and everybody has them, then Id be glad to sell you whatever you needed.....but that is not the case. I would love to be able to make everybody happy, and will do my best to make that happen....but I will not jeopardize my company by whoring out our custom tooled parts to random people.

again, that doesn't seem to make sense to be from a business stand point. Beings that you are one of the few companies making a 21" I would think it better to sell you parts to "some guy" than is wanting a single "this" or may be a couple of "those". You could price the stuff based on the fact you would be the only person selling them. There are a ton of companies making "custom stuff" and sell it to anyone/everyone and that is how they make all of their money. How much money do you thikn I would make if I made my Turbo manifolds but then only sold them attached to an over priced POS car? probably not a whole bunch but since I sell them one at a time to "just anyone" I can charge (for example) $650 for a T4 flanged equal length header for a 4G63T...

Really there is no point in this "back and forth" as you made it clear you are not going to be selling parts wether there is a demand for them or not... As for a "bad experience" with your company, not a huge deal but compared to AQ, Fi adn Atomic who sell parts to "the little people" I would suggest them over IA based on that alone. I like people/companies that are willing to help "the little guy" and not just competitors who drop $20K+ for a single setup... "plant a tiny seed and it grows into a big *** tree" is all I am saying...

What is the big deal? I can understand why IA doesnt want to just sell parts to people for diff. motors. DD does the same thing so why not bash them?? Yes i have bought recones for my MT's from companys other then RE but if someone told me no then so be it. I dont think its fair to compare companys based on what they will or will not sell to people.

and that is your opinion which you are more than welcome to have... I am not "bashing" RD, I am saying that I would recomend other companies before them due to teh fact I think the "others" have MUCH better customer service...

I really do understand where you are coming from, but I guess we will not see eye to eye. The bottom line is, we are not a parts vendor. We are a subwoofer manufacturer, and we sell and service Incriminator Audio subwoofers.

We have helped so many little guys out there it is not even funny. We have took a chance on guys that I didn't know from Adam's housecat, and they have turned out to be some of our best competitors.

Most custom tooled manufacturers take the same stance IA does, Im curious why they dont catch the same flack that IA is here. Even DD uses this same policy and they use less custom tooling, I guess their established reputation negates them from this conversation.

IA sucks because they are pretty much the only company making 21"s and they won't sell any parts LOL... seriously though, I won't buy from them just because of that.

I'm guessing you'll never understand so it's no use. Easily butthurt *** could have said it was your "flea market" amps or something of that nature. But he blamed the inferior box.
