I bought a Kenwood X990 from IndoAudio on ebay (ya, I'm a n00b). Anyways, long story short, after a month of him bullshitting me, I threatened a chargeback. A day later I got my replacement. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Here's the long *** e-mail transcript if you're curious to how much of a douche this guy is:
(Aug 27)Indo: If defective, send it back for a new one, most likely it is a bad ground, or
interference somewhere in the wiring
(Aug 27)Me: That's what I thought at first too, but I swapped it out for an Eclipse CD7000 using the same ground and RCA's and the problem went away. Therefore, it can't be a bad ground or bad wiring. Like I said, the high pitch sound is coming from the head unit itself. I can put my ear up to the unit and clearly hear it coming from within the unit. How would I go about sending it back for a replacement?

What happened to "replaced on the spot"? I'm going to contact my credit card company about a chargeback if this doesn't get resolved in a few days.

I don't really see what the problem is here. It should be a fairly simple and straighforward process to replace an item "on the spot".
