LOC wiring (double checking myself)

I have a 2002 Accord 2dr 6 speaker, 6 disc HU

Im using a Raptor LOCA25 | | RAPTOR AUDIO | |

Im going to tap my inputs to the LOC to these

Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Blue/Yellow

Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Gray/White

Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Red/Yellow

Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Brown/White

Tap the turn on lead to this:

Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: White/Red

But what is the brown wire from the LOC for? Ground maybe?

Is it best to connect the LOC at the HU or is it all the same at the rear speakers?

the brown is for ground, yes. but usually you can leave it unconnected.

if you're using a component amp to power all of your speakers, you might as well connect it at the HU, it will give you a (marginally) better signal. if you are lacking the RCAs to run that far, or you are still using the HU to power your speakers, then you can wire them at the rear speakers.
