LOC Problems

I just installed my axxess LOC it is an loc that turns on when it receives a signal from the speakers. My problem is when i turn my truck off and open the door my loc picks up me opening the door handle and sends a signal to my subs. This only happnes when i turn the truck off and open the door. If the the truck is running and i turn the volume down or the music off and i open my door handle no noise to my subs. Also my loc picks up when i slam the right door shut really hard and turns on idk what is going on any advise? If I did not explain so well i can make a video showing what is going on. My vehicle is a 2011 f150 super crew.

Check the ground on the amp(s). Make sure they're solid and the surface doesn't have paint on it. You should get a coaxial-to-RCA adapter and connect the amp directly to your phone/ipod. If that gets rid of the noise, it's probably the RCAs. If problem persists, you may need a ground loop isolator.

Could be a loc problem. If you don't have a good ground, the component looks to ground itself elsewhere and picks up all the noise.

I talked to my local shop and they said they have this problem all the time with signal sense loc. He said that to just use the loc as an loc and run my remote wire to something else.

And yes i did thats what it asked for in the instructions.

Okay everything is good. I bought an add a circuit and taped into a fuse. Everything is working how it is supposed to. Thank you all for the replies.

just a little fyi on whats happening. The differential in air pressure from opening and closing the door is moving the speaker which creates voltage on the line and the loc sees it then does what its supped to do, turn the amp on.
