doing an install on a 2010 camaro and she wants to keep her factory headunit so we got a LOC..now the rear speakers are in the hatrack in the back so im gunna tap into those for the left and right so i can run rca's straight to amp with out running to headunit but there are 2 brown wires...im pretty sure these are grounds but do i ground both are just one...just asking would it make a difference..thanks kinda need the answer quick...im doing it asap

With my "pac" loc the browns were grounds. On mine there was a black ground aswell and when I grounded the browns it didn't make any difference. Couldn't hurt anything. I double check the manual though.

ok ill just twist both grounds and make a ground for them in the trunk if theres not gunna be a difference i really dont wanna touch the headunit... thanks bro

What LOC are you planning to use?

I would strongly recommend you purchase a quality unit. I am speaking from experience here, as I tried 2 $20 units for my sub stage, and they were junk!

I ended up going with an Audiocontrol L6i LOC, and I am very pleased. The unit has adjustable gain on all 3 channel outputs, so it is perfect for amplifying all channels in a custom setup starting from a factory HU.

I also tried a Re-Q5, but the wiring was all screwed up on that unit when matching up to my monsoon system, plus their phone support was crap, so I returned it.
