looks like effendi doesn't have an amp on hand - and as he was slated for week one, that bumps everyone else up a notch. The driver will be a 12" and Kent will be the first to receive it this week (already promised). You are after him for the week of Sept. 23 to Sept. 30th, and from you it will go over to Noah Gentry (ngsm13) in Cincinnati, Ohio.

oh jesus jellyman. dont break the **** thing before i get my hands on it. 4+ for a 12" sounds a little on the deep side. best bet is to email mike and ask him what his limitations are. i dont want to be putting it in somthing and breaking it on him if you know what i mean.

im going to be testing it in a 1, 2, and 3 cube sealed box, by ear and on the TL. testing with SQ (if i can get my amp and crossover installed in time) and in ~3 cube ported box, tuned high and tuned low. all with mic numbers.

it should be quite interesting to see how it comes out.

You wont have to worry much about breaking it. I have 5000Wrms on my pair.

if it's more suitable for a sealed box(high xmax, low FS, high QTS) sure can.

oh baby.......the qts for the 12 is .97 and the fs is 30hz..xmax..a nice 1.49inches in one direction

I'm not too familiar with how to design and build a 4th order...can you link me? If your reaching Xmax around 30 hz...thats awesome...

lol....In the huge ported box I have right now..I can't eve get close to xmax untill I get down to about 22-23 hz. But i'm puting them in a nice sealed box in a week or so. They get sooooo deep sealed....DEEEEEP.
