I bought these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-98-GMC-SIERRA-SUBURBAN-TAHOE-TRUCK-LED-TAIL-LIGHTS_W0QQitemZ160363454034QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090918?IMSfp=TL0909182010008r7631

other than the fact they fit like s***, they are also really white. I kept the orginial lights in along with the led because I thought the LEDs wouldn't be to bright. Now when I break its the white lights that get brighter, I dunno if I will get a ticket for this? I tried to look for some actual red bulbs, but all I could find was orange, I guess that will be my best bet?

I also dunno how to wire it properly it didn't come with instructions, I dunno if the LEDs can blink or not? I just wired them both to be on all the time with the driving lights. They don't flash with the turn signal or get brighter with the break light.(The original bulb still blinks/get brighter, but it is white, so I think I will get a ticket)

The way the chevy is setup is

Top Bulb Comes on with the driving light

Middle Bulb also comes on with the driving light, but it blinks for the turn signal and gets brighter with the break

Bottom one is reverse.

Now I am not sure exactly how the default bulbs are wired, but I think the top one is just wired into the wire that keeps the lights on and the middle bulb is wired into the same one as the top bulb but also another wire to make it blink/get brighter? If so I should also take my Bottom LED and wire them into the same wire that puts out the blinker/break signal? That should make my LEDs blink?
