little question poo about alt output

i wrote dude at dc power that i was gonna have approximately 6500 watts total of power and was asking him if i wanted my truck to be more of a daily bumper rather then comp truck if i should go higher then the 190 alt.

this is for a powerstroke diesel. what you think. 190 or 230. much difference even matter?

190 alt makes 150 at idle its $350 reman version $250

230 alt $400

advice? please keel the dumb talk for your time
