Listened to Morel Elates today

I was having a minor instalation today and while I waited I compared BA SPZ60 to the Elates. The first couple or songs I listened to the BA's sounded better. The more I listened and the more differant styles of music I listened to the better the Morels sounded. By the end the Ba's weren't even in the ballpark as far as clear, detailed life like sound. Time to save some money bigtime. Anyone have an opinion of something that is simlar to the Elates but a bit cheaper. Maybe in a DLS

Buy the raw drivers on madisound.com- they are almost identical to the elates. the woofer model is MW631 and the tweet is MDT 12. and run it active!

I run the Morel HU621 I am not sure what the Elates run, but mine were about 140.00 a piece from Parts Express. I had DLS UP6 before and the overall it was really nice, but lacked a little midrange for me. It also could have been the crossover. I am running active now, and will never go back. The raw drivers and active is the way to go. You can get a set of Vifa mids, or Seas, or Peerless.
